Description: This position will help assist in the curation of events as they are planned. Additionally, expected to attend and manage events as they occur. This position will require an organized, hands-on individual who embraces every challenge with the highest level of detailed execution.
Responsibilities to Include:
- General clerical duties such as: answering phones, utilizing catering software, assist in proposal entries, revisions and updates. Take notes in client meetings/calls, and maintain an up-to-date Outlook calendar
- Enter in all information into the company software, providing as much detail as possible from notes provided by Sales Coordinator(s) or notes you have taken from meetings
- Follow up with clients as needed for each event and ensure each event has the necessary information included in the event folder: proposal, worksheet, rental ticket, Green’s order, layout, timeline, etc.
- Oversee all initial inquiries. Send sample menus and schedule initial calls with Sales Coordinator
- Follow up on emails and/or phone calls regarding initial proposals
- Send alcohol order requests to Bar Manager
- Handle any specialty signage needed for events – i.e. allergy related needs or signature cocktail signage on bars
- Oversee small catered events as necessary
- Confirm appointments and tours with clients
- Request rental tickets for proposals, input pricing and confirm with rental company once events are confirmed
- Schedule and conduct tastings
- Attend weekly and monthly company meetings
- Draft layouts and create timelines
- Assist in event setups and check-on events as needed
- Anything additional deemed necessary by management
Qualifications

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to initiate a conversation.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Manual dexterity and visual insight to operate a computer and perform sales activities in an office environment, with or without reasonable accommodations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
