Customer Service Representative

Job Summary :

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for the processing of payments, responding to customer inquiries, request, complaints and sales. Job functions would include : process service / meter orders; calculate and adjust electric service billed revenue as required; negotiate with customers concerning late payment arrangements and determine deposit amounts when required; process new service orders / transfers; speaking to customers about services and products.

Job Requirements :

Business office experience strongly preferred

Experience with customer billing systems

Experience with cash processes

Ability to process a high volume of transactions

Proven customer service experience

Proficient written and verbal communication skills

Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

Previous utility customer service experience highly desired

Behavioral Attributes :

Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment

Flexible and the ability to multi-task

Dependable

Positive attitude

Initiative

Must be able to handle all functions of a business office representative and is self-directed with strong initiative and has the desire and ability for continued career growth.
