If so, we are looking for you to join our exceptional team as a Dispatch/Warehouse Manager in our Phoenix, AZ distribution center.
Hours Monday through Friday 7am to 4pm. No weekends!
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: You will be doing a dual role doing Dispatch and Warehouse duties.
Schedule and dispatch outbound customer deliveries utilizing our own fleet of drivers to construction sites, commerical sites.
Managing truck driver’s schedules and routes in order to meet service level commitments.
Ensuring all delivery documents are accurate per the customer’s expectations.
Reviewing truck driver’s logging data and ensuring all vehicles are DOT compliant.
Handling customer complaints and inquiries.
Coordinate local vendor pickups
Complete warehouse tasks including delivery loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging of inventory.
Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles.
Compare and reconcile system inventory levels against physical count of stock.
Maintain condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.).
Follow Company safety policies and procedures and encourage other associates to do the same.
Receive and fill inventory orders for customers.
Operate forklift or other machinery in order to complete tasks.
Work closely with operations on all outbound customer orders to meet company standards.
YOU MAY BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU
Meet the Minimum Qualifications – You have at least 1 year's of dispatcher experience, preferably in a warehouse industrial/construction supply field with a High School Diploma or GED.
Have intermediate experience using Excel spreadsheets and other Microsoft Office programs.
Experience ensuring timely delivery of goods and customer satisfaction with services provided.
Ability to correspond with external and internal clients and vendors professionally and effectively via phone, email, and written correspondence.
Excellent attention to detail in a rapidly changing environment.
Maintain Company information in a confidential manner.
Demonstrate excellence in both oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate via email or telephone.
