Job Summary:
SouthernCarlson is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Recruiting Intern to join our Human Resources team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in talent acquisition, recruiting processes, and HR administration. The ideal candidate will assist in sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates for various positions while contributing to employer branding initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with job postings.
Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, company website).
Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess qualifications.
Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information.
Assist in onboarding tasks, including documentation and new hire orientation support.
Participate in HR projects related to talent acquisition and employee engagement.
Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HR software is a plus.
