SouthernCarlson is proudly hiring Sales Interns for Summer 2025 in the following locations.
Dallas, TX
Charlotte, NC
Chicago, IL
Nashville, TN
Orlando, FL
Our 8-week summer internships begin June 2nd and ends July 25th.
$15/ hour $4,000 living stipend
First week spent in our warehouse to learn product
Weeks 2-4 spent working as branch associate/ inside sales support
Weeks 4 – 8 will be spent riding along with sales reps
Sales Intern Duties and Responsibilities
Working with their manager or a sales associate to complete assigned tasks
Attending meetings and events to observe and learn
Updating sales records and documents accurately
Observing how to close deals in the sales process
Communicating with vendors and clients at the manager’s request
Conducting research and collating survey data
Assessing whether sales targets are met
Taking notes on what they learn while on the job
Sales Intern skills and qualifications
Sales Interns should have a specific set of skills to be successful in this role. These include:
