Sales Representative - Residential Supply

SouthernCarlson is The Contractors Choice™ for professional-grade tools, fasteners, jobsite supplies and expert service.   WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING   Work primarily in single-family construction supply sales. Organize your time around competing demands to meet agreed upon sales targets. Become an expert on our products and services while leading business development efforts, such as: following up with incoming leads, scheduling meetings with prospective customers and cold calling. Close deals and advocate for your customers by providing them with resources and tools that meet their needs. Spend time out in the field proactively developing relationships and keeping customers up to date on their order status, managing deliveries and any account-related issues with timely resolution. Generate leads within the local community by walking into businesses and job sites.   YOU MAY BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU Meet the Minimum Qualifications – You have at least 1 year of prior customer service, sales or business development experience. Experience in the construction industry is a plus and hold a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Network in our Industry – You have knowledge of our industry, are mechanically inclined, and already have an established network of relationships with potential to expand your reach. Deliver Results - You always find a solution when a challenge is presented and deliver it. Communicate Exceptionally – You have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred!
