What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Agent / CSR position at Southernmost Insurance Agency?
Our agency is seeking a motivated licensed agent with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our team! You will be responsible for servicing existing clients and expanding the company's book of business by selling various types of insurance policies to new and existing clients.
Responsibilities:
•Service an existing book of business (personal & commercial)
•Present and sell insurance policies to new and existing clients
•Develop and calculate suitable plans based on clients' needs
•Resolve client inquiries and complaints
•Expand business reach through networking techniques
•Comply with insurance standards and regulations
• Track and identify areas of improvement
Qualifications:
• 2 years of insurance agency/brokerage experience
• An active P&C License /4-40 or 2-20 license (if currently licensed in another state, you will need to obtain a FL insurance license)
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, delegation and decision-making skills
• Outstanding verbal/written communication skills
• Ability to perform large work volumes with high degrees of accuracy
• PC proficiency, including MS Office
• Exceptional personal character, including a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to assist others at all times
Position hours are 8A – 4P Mon – Fri with Paid Time off, bonus potential & medical/dental & life benefits available. Licensed 4-40/2-20 or equivalent.
SALARY BASED ON EXPERIENCE * Base Salary $45,000-55,000 / year.
