What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Toss Driver - CDL position at Southfield, City of (MI)?
- Transport clients to scheduled appointments.
- Gas and clean vehicles daily.
- Keep track of passenger count and demographics.
- Drive for other city and contracted scheduled routes.
- Drive for day trips scheduled by the Parks and Recreation department.
- Transport vehicles to designated locations for repairs.
- Check email daily and communicate with supervisor via email.
- Complete a daily check list of the vehicles.
- Document needed vehicle maintenance on required form.
- Complete written incident reports, as needed.
- Must be flexible and able to multitask.
- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent and a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Prefer candidates with a valid Michigan CDL with a minimum of a Group C Designation and P endorsement.
- Will be scheduled for and can pass a DOT physical.
- Must be able to obtain a C.P.R. card once employed.
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
- Must be able to secure wheelchair tie downs.
- Must be able to manually operate a wheelchair lift.
