Responsibilities
Assisting providers with patient care including:
- rooming patients, vitals, EKG's, fingerstick glucose and INR, rapid flu/covid and strep, pulse ox, pulmonary function testing, and cultures and more.
- Provide patient and family education on disease states, equipment use, medication use,
Skills required
- Problem solving, multitasking and efficiency
- Positive attitude, initiative, motivation, intuition
- Strong knowledge of nursing fundamentals
