Southlake Christian Academy is an established JK-12 Christian school in the Lake Norman area of Charlotte, North Carolina. Established in 1994, Southlake’s goal is to provide educational excellence at an affordable price in a caring Christian community. We are currently looking for responsible adults interested in working in our after-school care program. Candidates must be willing to undergo a background check.

DEADLINE
Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis during the school year and interviews held as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or higher education
- Report to work as scheduled and on time
- Flexibility in working with parents and staff
- Resolve conflicts with children and parents tactfully
- Possess the ability to be firm but friendly with students
- Effective communication skills
- Monitor student activity
- Engage with students on playground
- Observe who enters and leaves childcare area
- Background check required
- Ensure school facility used for after school care is left clean and neat each day
- A lifestyle that exhibits a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Agree and adhere to the school’s mission statement and statement of faith
Work setting: In-person at Christian school
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 20 per week
Schedule: 4-hour shift, Monday to Friday
