APPLICANTS
Southlake Christian Academy is accepting applications for a full-time Help Desk AV Professional for the 2025-2026 academic school year. All interested and qualified applicants will be considered.

DEADLINE
Applications will be accepted until we receive an acceptable number of qualified candidates. Failure to answer the supplemental questions will result in disqualification. All application materials will be evaluated to determine the most qualified candidates.
INTERVIEWS
Finalists will be invited to the next round in the selection process. Interviews may be on a rolling basis through the end of 2024-2025.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
AV Professional candidates should have experience working in a school setting with video and audio equipment. An ideal candidate possesses a blend of technical skills, strong soft skills, a professional work ethic, adaptability, and a good cultural fit, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and contributing positively to the team and schools success.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment.
1.Perform campus-wide support for iPads, MAC and Window computers
2. Effectively communicate and collaborate with users to help solve problems with various computer applications manage and complete other duties as assigned.
3. Experience MDM software (Filewave for Apple & Windows), Active Directory, File Sharing, Google Apps/G Suite, Microsoft Office 365, and MacOS / iPadOS / Windows software in general and other products as neede
4. Demonstrate the ability to inspire learning and cultivate relationships with students.
5. Prepare appropriate weekly lesson plans including instructional objectives, planned activities, Biblical integration, assessments, and resources.
6. Ability to run ProPresenter, navigate through setup of mics and other audio video equipment for Chapel and other school events.
7. Provide communication on all escalated issues to management and other support teams.
8. Problem-solve and troubleshoot computer hardware and software, and related equipment such as iPads, Desktops, Laptops, Smart Panels, and other technology devices.
9. Give evidence of a Biblical worldview and a personal spiritual commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and should be committed to and in agreement with the philosophy and objectives of Southlake Christian Academy.
10. Maintain professional appearance as defined in employee handbook and Exercise a high degree of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Associate degree or a combination of equivalent work experience, education, and or training/certifications.
- 3 or more years of relevant experience.
- Active Directory, Filewave, G Suite, Office 365, Pro ProPresenter, and database systems experience strongly preferred.

- Team player capable of working in a school environment
- Flexible schedule to manage school events that require AV setup operations.
- Able to evaluate and respond to the technology needs of others in the most appropriate ways for a school setting
