IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are seeking reliable and motivated Part-Time Facilities Assistants to join our Facilities Team for the summer season. This position involves performing a variety of maintenance and support tasks to help keep our campus safe, clean, and well-maintained. The ideal candidates should be comfortable using basic hand tools and eager to contribute to the smooth operation of our facilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Perform general maintenance and repair tasks around campus.
2. Assist with landscaping, cleaning, and upkeep of facilities.
3. Use basic hand tools safely and effectively for minor repairs.
4. Support the Facilities Team in daily operational tasks as assigned.
5. Report any safety concerns or maintenance issues to the supervisor promptly.
6. Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
7. Give evidence of a Biblical worldview and a personal spiritual commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and should be committed to and in agreement with the philosophy and objectives of Southlake Christian Academy.
7. Maintain professional appearance as defined in employee handbook.
8. Exercise a high degree of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience with facilities maintenance or similar work preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of using hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, hammers, wrenches).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Must be at least 18 years old.

COMPENSATION
Commensurate with experience based on individual qualifications.

Monday through Friday
9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
