Southland Benefit Solutions, LLC (SBS) is a third party administrator located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing customer service in a high-volume call center, email to insured members, providers, group administrators and others who call or email with questions regarding eligibility or claims. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, claim processing, and administrative duties to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policy agreements and contractual arrangements.
Responsibilities:
- Answer telephone calls within standards set forth in TPA contract.
- Process claims within a designated authority level.
- Verify and analyze data used in settling claims.
- Maintain customer records by updating customer information.
- Resolve service problems.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times.
- Other duties assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
