Job Description: The IT Support Tech 2 works in conjunction with the IT Team and HIT Vendor to manage access and utilization of SCCP’s network, servers, information systems, and IT resources.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work in conjunction with the HIT Vendor to manage access and utilization of SCCP’s network, servers and information systems, and IT resources
• Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers, workstations and/or other related equipment and devices as needed.
• Utilize SCCP’s ticketing system for addressing IT issues.
• Perform basic problem solving and assistance on various software applications and hardware systems for SCCP employees.
• Perform routine IT technical assistance and maintenance duties.
• Support proper upkeep of IT systems.
• Assist in maintaining and updating data systems.
• Onboard/Offboard employees/Third Party Vendors.
• Assist with the implementation of new technology projects with moderate scope and impact.
• Interact with staff to optimize workflow efficiency.
• Work with the IT Team to ensure an accurate and up-to-date inventory/log of all SCCP IT resources/assets in compliance with SCCP policies.
• Provide individual instruction and/or training to employees on new or updated technologies and policies.
• Support SCCP’s Change Management Process in conjunction with the IT Team, HIT Vendor, and the Information Security Management Oversight Committee.
• Support SCCP’s Risk Management Program.
• Support the implementation, monitoring, and auditing of SCCP’s IT-related internal controls, across departments, programs, and Internal Control Owners, to ensure compliance with SCCP written
policies, procedures, and processes.
• Support the delivery of audit logs and reports required for SOC2 and HITRUST compliance.
• Produce reports as required.
• Follow all Policies and Procedures of SCCP.
• Comply with Performance Goals / Contract Deliverables.
• Participate in all SCCP mandatory and CMS regulatory training.
• Attend all staff meetings – in person or via telephone (if unable to attend, responsible for knowledge of content).
• Abide by all SCCP information security policies, procedures, protocols, and practices.
• Participate in regular information security management trainings.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of SCCP information security policies.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• Specialty licensure/certification related to IT.
• At least 1 year experience as IT Support Tech 1.

• Knowledge of a wide range of computer systems software, applications, and hardware.
• Ability to perform routine preventive maintenance on systems software, applications, hardware, networking, and communications.
