Position Summary:
The Volunteer Coordinator helps the Georgetown Children’s Team create irresistible environments for families that lead kids to Jesus, build trust with parents, and empower leaders to serve. The schedule for this position is 20 hours/week.

The Volunteer Coordinator helps the Georgetown Children’s Team create irresistible environments for families that lead kids to Jesus, build trust with parents, and empower leaders to serve. The schedule for this position is 20 hours/week.
Essential Position Responsibilities Include:
- Provide leadership in Sunday Children’s environments, providing support for Children’s (volunteer) leaders, serving families and helping maintain safe and orderly environments.
- Schedule weekly leaders for the Children's Ministry and monitor leader coverage for each Sunday.
- Manage Planning Center database (add new leaders, track leader placement process, run reports, send serve requests weekly).
- Process potential leaders and track their progress through the application, interview, screening, safety and training process.
- Help stock supplies and set up weekend environments to make sure they are ready for guests.
- Assist with the unpacking and sorting of monthly curriculum supplies.
- Process weekend documents and feedback on Monday morning (offering, attendance entry, leader and weekend staff feedback, etc).
- Participate in leader interviews as needed.
- Assist with planning and leading special events.
- Collaborate with the Children’s Lead on care needs for leaders and families.
- Collaborate with the Children’s Team across campuses to help problem solve and become more effective at serving leaders and families.
- Support the Georgetown campus team by building relationships across departments, attending campus meetings, assisting with campus-wide events and contributing to the health of the church.
