Are you looking for a remote sales position with long-term growth potential?

The Southland Development Authority is looking to add 5 sales representatives to our sales team.

The successful candidate will have clear-spoken English, a passion for sales, and closer energy. Your role is to contact event leads and close ticket sales.

The successful candidate will have a solid foundation of sales experience, training, and closing abilities. Business and real estate experience isn't necessary, but a basic understanding of property is an asset. A reliable internet connection is a must, as our system is web-based.

  • Proficient : Textbook smarts is one thing but being quick on your feet and able to use technology is what we’re after. If you get this job and come up against something you don’t know, you’ll figure it out.
  • A Winner : Winners find a way when others give up. Winners don’t settle for excuses or lower their standards when things get tough. We have high expectations for our staff because this is what gets our customers the results they need. Nothing less is acceptable.
  • A Closer : There is something in sales that separates the great from the average, and that’s the ability to close. Systems and frameworks can be taught, but the natural ability to close is something that will reward you for a lifetime. We want to hear from you if you have this talent.

The Nitty-Gritty

  • The job entails hitting the phone every day of the week, making hundreds of dials per day. It takes a driven individual who has serious goals and ambition to succeed in this role.
  • Working remotely has its pros and cons. We try to overcome the limited in-person interaction through daily script role play and weekly one-on-one coaching sessions so you can get on (and stay on) the track to success.
  • You will be compensated via base ($1500) commissions (20% per ticket). This is not a pit stop or casual job. There is room to advance to higher positions and work with elite customers, but that is reserved for high performers. If that’s you, we want to meet.
  • Compensation

    This role offers a competitive base pay of $1,500 per month, along with a 20% commission on all sales. Additionally, there is a $200 bonus for selling 50 tickets. With strong performance, you can expect to earn $10,000–$12,000 per month.
