League Coordinator (VNEA Pool League, Bullshooter Dart League, and Skee-ball League)
We are looking to fill a full-time, part-time and internship position with our team in Wilmington, NC as a League Coordinator (VNEA Pool League, Bullshooter Dart League, and Skee-Ball League).
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide pre-league communication, identifying any up and coming leagues.
- Share information on the registration process including key dates.
- Manage the registration process ensuring teams are fully registered and all players are registered to their respective team.
- Communicate the published draw, and highlight any changes throughout the league.
- Manage and maintain the draw throughout the league, ensuring accurate recording of results, spirit scores and MVPs (as applicable).
- Assist with any set up or break down for events.
- Ensure all equipment provided for the league is returned at the conclusion of the league.
- Act as a facilitator for any disputes.
- Creating the league event, details and draw.
- Following up on the non-payment of teams or individuals.
- Co-ordinating prizegiving at the conclusion of each league.
- Setting dates for leagues.
- Recruiting individuals to join the league
- Resolving conflicts where the league coordinator is involved directly.
- Must be able to work evenings on tournament dates.
Knowledge and Skills Required: Ideally the League Coordinator is someone who:
- Can communicate effectively.
- Must understand the game and rules of Pool, Bullshooter Darts, and Skeeball.
- Has good planning and time management skills.
- Provides a positive atmosphere.
- Previous experience co-ordinating events is preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must pass background check.
- Must have flexible work schedule available, including some weekends.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
- Light lifting may be required.
