Southland Holdings is currently accepting resumes for highly motivated skilled workers to join our team as a Carpenter / Form Setter in Carrollton, TX at our Water Utility Project.
Duties :
- Experience setting forms, tying rebar, pouring and finishing concrete, using string line for line and level, able to read rebar and form drawings.
- Load / Unload materials.
- Mark cutting lines on materials, using pencil and scriber.
- Build job-specific wood forms.
- Assemble and fasten material together to construct wood or metal framework of structure, using bolts, nails, or screws-Set and tie steel, as required.
- Erect and wreck all forms. Pour, grade and finish concrete.
- Check and maintain grade stakes and other survey markings.
- Maintain equipment and tools.
- Enter confined spaces, as required.
- Measure materials or distances, using square, measuring tape, or rule to lay out work-Operate a man-lift.
- Provide flagging and direction to Crane Operators.
- Cut or saw boards, timbers, or plywood to required size, using handsaw, power saw, or woodworking machine.
