Key Responsibilities:
- • Collaborate with model coordinators, estimators, and trade staff to create practical, efficient, and cost-effective designs
• Serve as a design professional at project team design meetings
• Prepare complex preliminary Bluebeam design layouts for estimating
• Perform complex calculations for projects, such as heating/cooling loads, equipment selection and sizing, friction loss calculations, etc.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with construction documents and resolve design issues during construction
• Supervise or direct the workflow of less-experienced engineers in performing HVAC or other system designs
Requirements:
This role requires:
- • Four-year degree in Engineering or related field
• At least five years of experience in HVAC design, with ten years or more preferred
• Excellent knowledge of applicable systems design, such as HVAC, piping, etc.
• Ability to manage and mentor junior engineers
• Strong computer skills, including Revit, CADD, and Microsoft Office products
