Job Title: Human Resources Professional
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources professional to join our dynamic HR team at Southland Industries. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to partner with our business units to drive strategic initiatives and improve employee experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide workforce planning and talent acquisition to ensure effective staffing and management of our workforce.
- Manage complex employee relations case management, including investigations, performance improvement plans, and performance counseling.
- Develop effective partnerships with division management and strong relationships with employees at all levels.
- Provide advice and counsel to managers on employee performance issues and develop workforce plans in collaboration with Talent Acquisition.
- Support annual performance appraisal process and facilitate compensation processes by counseling and advising managers.
- Collaborate with HR Functional Experts/teams to execute and communicate programs that meet the needs of employees and the business.
- Participate in the development and implementation of Corporate Human Resources Programs to maximize effectiveness and minimize redundancies in company-wide HR processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Business Administration/Management or related field.
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP Certification (if degree is in other field of study).
- 8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources working in a mid-size company.
- Demonstrated experience managing a mix of professional and union employees.
