Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Design Engineer, Senior provides engineering design for specific projects. In addition, this role supervises or directs the workflow of less-experienced engineers in performing Fire Protection design and documents production of small and large projects. The Design Engineer, Senior is capable of developing a sprinkler project from concept phase through listing and fabrication
What you'll do :
- Serves as design professional at project team design meetings.
- Prepares complex preliminary redline design layouts for estimating.
- Completes engineering and shop drawing level drawings, specifications, calculations, and materials submittals from conceptual stage through listing and fabrication.
- Performs site inspections to determine compliance with construction documents and resolves design issues during construction phase.
- Supervises or directs the workflow of less-experienced engineers in performing fire sprinkler design and documents production of small and large projects
