They also handle accounts payable and receivable, process warranty claims, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining Financial Records:Accurately record all dealership transactions, including vehicle sales, service department revenues, and inventory.
- Bookkeeping and Reporting:Prepare financial statements, manage bank reconciliations, and ensure timely and accurate monthly and annual reports.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable:Process invoices, track payments, and manage relationships with vendors and customers.
- Warranty Management:Process and manage warranty claims to ensure accurate reimbursement.
- Regulatory Compliance:Ensure the dealership complies with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Payroll Management:Oversee payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely employee payments.
- Inventory Management:Maintain accurate records of inventory, including new and used vehicles, parts, and accessories.
- Budgeting and Analysis:Assist in developing and monitoring budgets, analyzing financial performance, and identifying areas for improvement.
