The Sales Agent is responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities in the freight and logistics sector, managing client relationships, and meeting or exceeding sales targets. This role involves proactive sales activities, developing and presenting solutions to clients, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure service excellenc

  • ntIdentify Prospects: Identify and target potential clients in the freight and logistics industry through research, networking, and market analysi
  • s.Lead Generation: Generate leads through cold calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, and attending industry events and trade show
  • s.Client Acquisition: Develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients, presenting tailored freight solutions to meet their specific need

s.Sales and Relationship Manageme

  • ntSales Presentation: Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations, effectively communicating the value proposition of the company's freight service
  • s.Negotiate Contracts: Negotiate terms and close sales contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreement
  • s.Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact for freight service

s.Client Consultation and Solution Developme

  • ntUnderstand Client Needs: Consult with clients to understand their logistics requirements and challenge
  • s.Develop Solutions: Develop and propose customized freight solutions that align with client needs and company capabilitie
  • s.Service Optimization: Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure the successful implementation and optimization of freight solution

  • ngSales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve or exceed sales target
  • s.Sales Forecasting: Prepare sales forecasts and reports, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvemen

  • onClient Support: Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues related to freight service
  • s.Issue Management: Handle and resolve any service issues or complaints in a timely and professional manne

  • rkCross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including operations, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless delivery of freight solution

  • onMaintain Records: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and contract detail
  • s.Ensure Compliance: Ensure all sales activities and client contracts comply with company policies and industry regulation

s.Qualificatio

  • nsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degre
  • e.Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably within the freight, logistics, or transportation industry. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing new busines

  • s.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to clients and stakeholder

  • s.Customer Focus: High level of customer service orientation, with a commitment to understanding and meeting client need
  • s.Technical: Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools. Familiarity with logistics and freight management systems is a plu
