Position Purpose
This role is responsible for representing the company within the designated territory or assigned accounts. The individual will develop and execute a proactive prospecting strategy and consistently report progress to the Senior Vice President of Bus. Key responsibilities include driving both new business and sales growth within the assigned area, with a strong focus on customer engagement, relationship-building, and achieving sales objectives. Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Build, develop, and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients, becoming their trusted advisor for bus transportation solutions.
- Identify and qualify sales opportunities through strategic prospecting, referrals, and direct marketing initiatives.
- Conduct in-depth consultations to understand customers’ needs and recommend the most suitable bus models and configurations.
- Close sales deal effectively and ensure timely delivery of buses to customers.
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations and provide detailed explanations of features, benefits, and technical specifications.
- Present competitive proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales to achieve or exceed established sales targets.
- Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns.
- Prepare regular sales and forecast to track performance against targets.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Attend trade shows, networking events, and training sessions to continually enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of sales activities, pipeline opportunities, and customer interactions using CRM tools.
- Provide ongoing customer support to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and foster repeat business.
- The position requires frequent travel within the designated region, with a high volume of day trips, but no overnight stays are necessary.
