Job Title: Independent Freight Sales Representative (1099)
Summary: As an Independent Freight Sales Representative (1099), you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and cultivating strong relationships with clients in the freight industry. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely and the opportunity to earn uncapped commissions based on your sales performance.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Identify and research potential customers in the transportation and logistics industry.
- Utilize various channels such as cold calling, networking events, social media, and referrals to generate leads.
- Qualify leads and prioritize them based on potential revenue and fit with company services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, carriers, and other key stakeholders in the supply chain.
- Understand clients' transportation needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Present company services, capabilities, and value proposition to potential clients effectively.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients and carriers to secure profitable business opportunities.
- Close sales and achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities.
- Analyze market data and identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate new markets and maximize revenue.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all sales-related documentation, including contracts, agreements, and pricing quotes.
- Adhere to procedures, and regulatory requirements governing freight brokerage operations.
- Maintain proper records of sales activities, customer interactions, and revenue generated.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong understanding of transportation logistics, supply chain management, and freight brokerage operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a drive to succeed in a competitive sales environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and achieve goals.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, logistics, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven track record of success in freight sales or a related field, with at least 2 years of experience.
Physical Requirements:
