We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our administrative team as the Controller. The Controller will have a strong background in financial management and reporting, accounts payable and receivables, banking, HR, payroll, and expense management skills. The role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations and reports. The ideal candidate will have experience in a senior management role. Additionally, the candidate will have a strong background in communicating financial reports and skilled analytical skills, to streamline our financial reporting process.
Must be able to pass a drug screen prior to and randomly throughout employment.
Requirements/Responsibilities:
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Understanding of debits, credits, and basic accounting principles.
- Experience in general ledger reconciliation and financial reporting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online is preferred.
- Balance Sheet Management
- Ensure all entries are accurate and compliant with accounting standards.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Provide timely and accurate financial reports to senior management
- Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Payroll Preparation
- Oversee invoicing to customers
- Oversee banking operations, including reconciliations and cash management
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
- Perform financial analysis to evaluate business performance and opportunities
- Manage capital lease agreements, ensuring accurate recording and reporting.
- Expense Management
- Oversee and control company expenditures to ensure alignment with budgets.
- Implement and monitor expense management policies and procedures.
