Southport Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking two part time Recreation Assistant to join its team.
The ideal candidate will be personable and have exceptional cutomer service skills.
As a Recreation Assistant you will lead group and independent activities for the residents of the facility. You will assist the Director in the planning, implementation and evaluation of recreational social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual programs in accordance with each residents individual careplan.
Job Duties/Responsiblilites
- Conduct smoking breaks
- One to one activity visits
- Run activities and special events
- Communicate with other departments well
- Transporting residents to activities
- Follow diet orders during activities
- Work well with the dietary team to coordinate activities
Flexible scheduele - must be able to work a mix of mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
