Help Wanted: Part-Time Nanny for 5-Year-Old & Family Pets
We are looking for a part-time nanny to care for our 5-year-old daughter while I work from home. We also have a larger Labradoodle dog and two cats, so we need someone who’s comfortable with pets and can provide light care for them when needed. If you're enthusiastic about combining educational play with physical activity and love animals, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Care for our daughter, including supervising playtime and planning educational activities (e.g., reading, arts and crafts, simple math games).
- Help our daughter practice basketball, softball, and other sports to encourage physical activity and coordination.
- Prepare and serve lunch and snacks.
- Take our daughter to the park, library, or other local activities (reliable transportation required).
- Assist with light pet care tasks, including feeding, walking & playing with the dog.
- Light housekeeping related to our daughter and pets (e.g., cleaning up after meals, assisting our daughter in tidying up play areas)
- Foster a positive, caring environment that encourages social, emotional, and physical growth for our daughter.
Requirements:
- Experience with children, preferably in a nanny, daycare, or babysitting role.
- Comfortable with pets, including dogs and cats.
- Reliable, insured transportation for outings (library, park, etc.).
- CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain).
- Background check required.
- Energetic, responsible, and patient with excellent communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a home where the parent will be usually be present.
Hours:
Part-time, Our desired availability:
Monday: 8am - 2pm
Tuesday: off
Wednesday: 8am - 2pm
Thursday: 8am - 2pm
Friday: 10am - 2pm
Starting and ending hours can change a bit, please let us know your availability.
