ADON Duties & Responsibilities:
- Aid DON to organize, direct, & develop the nursing dept.
- Ensure team members adhere to policies to provide best care of the residents.
- Ensure care plans are up to date & attend care plan meetings.
- Preform routine chart audits & report to the DON.
- Communicate w/ DON to schedule & assign nursing staff meetings.
- Participate in and/or lead team education meetings (wound, infection control, Med A, 5 Star & QA)
- Conduct human resource function for assigned staff.
- Review Resident & family concerns & complaints; respond in a timely manner.
- In absence of DON - you will lead assigned nursing staff.
- Work w/ staff on the floor. (as needed)
- Serve on committees. (as assigned)
