What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL A Regional Truck Driver position at Southshore Enterprises, Inc.?
Southshore Distribution is seeking a qualified, dependable Class A Regional Truck Driver to join our delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for loading goods from the warehouse into your truck, transporting the load to the client’s location. Our drivers must always drive safely and be professional and courteous when talking with our customers.
\n- To be DOT compliant and follow all company safety procedures.
- FMCSA compliant and Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse compliant.
- Ensure that all proper documentation is in order.
- Drive commercial motive equipment. (Class A CDL driver's license.)
- Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Good customer relations.
- Other duties as directed.
- Must pass drivers test.
- Must have all state and federal documents required for driving all related equipment.
- Ability to interact within a team environment.
- Two years' experience preferred but not required.
- Proven ability to operate a 26 foot straight truck.
- Normal driving environment.
- Work hours may vary depending on our customers scheduled delivery time.
- Our routes have you home every night and weekends!
- We pay a competitive hourly rate of pay!
