Southside Blooms is looking to add a Mushroom Grower to its team.

Role
As a Mushroom Grower, you will be responsible for overseeing the growth, cultivation, and sale of mushrooms in accordance with our environmental sustainability and community development. This role also requires you to mentor youth participants and maintain high-quality standards.
Your Core Contributions To The Team
- Grow and cultivate mushrooms in line with company-provided guidelines and standards.
- Ensure the proper care, maintenance, and harvesting of the mushrooms, maintaining a healthy and sustainable cultivation environment.
- Oversee the sale of mushrooms as directed by the company, adhering to established pricing and quality standards.
- Mentor and work with youth participants, providing hands-on training in mushroom cultivation and sales processes.
- Track and report on the progress and development of youth participants, ensuring a positive and educational experience.
- Maintain accurate records of all cultivation and sales activities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Implement marketing strategies aimed at securing restaurant partnerships for mushroom sales.
- Manage and maintain relationships with restaurant accounts to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

All The Other Stuff
This position reports to the Farm Operations Manager and is a non-exempt position.
This is a full-time position, requiring 8 hour shifts that occur Monday through Friday, including evening shifts and/or weekend shifts as needed. Overtime may be required.
