Virtual Bookkeeper

As a Virtual Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and accuracy of our clients' businesses. Working remotely, you will be responsible for managing financial records, reconciling accounts, and providing timely and accurate financial reports. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will be essential in maintaining the financial integrity of our clients' businesses.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients using accounting software
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial accounts
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Collaborate with clients and their teams to answer financial-related inquiries and provide guidance
• Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficient bookkeeping practices
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial data
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
