SouthSide Early Childhood Center is currently seeking teacher candidates to join our dynamic teaching teams for our KIPP Wonder Pre-K classrooms. We are seeking diverse candidates, particularly who identify as Black, Latinx, and/or candidates who are bilingual English/Spanish, English/Oromo, English/Amharic, English/Somali.
This position is part of the Pre-K Co-op Program, a partnership between K-12 public schools and early childhood centers serving the St. Louis region. Floater teachers will work with classroom teachers to support pre-k students in the classroom as they grow physically, mentally, and emotionally. They play an active role in the academic success of students as they learn, make friends, and experience the world around them.
Position is full-time. Workday is from 8AM-4PM M-F and works off a traditional school calendar (10 months).
Candidates much have at least 6bhours of college credit OR a CDA.
All candidates must have the COVID-19 vaccine.
