BBQ Line Cashier - Duties and Responsibilities

• Greets and welcomes each customers and processes their order accurately
• Repeats order to customer either in person or via phone to ensure accuracy of order and customer satisfaction
• Knowledgeable of menu, demonstrates suggestive selling
• Use register to track all transactions
• Demonstrates accurate cash handling abilities.
• Packages food correctly for dine in and to go orders
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of cashier area and cash drawer
• Follows all TABC regulations for responsible alcohol sales
  
  

Food Handler Certificate required.

TABC required- must be over 18 years old to sell alcohol.

Previous Cash Handling Experience Preferred.

Ability to listen, read, write and speak fluently in English for all job related circumstances

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

Education and/or Experience

Food Handler Certificate (Required prior to day 1)

Previous restaurant experience required. For example fast food team member, restaurant kitchen or expo experience.

Ability to read and speak fluently in English for all job related circumstances.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

While performing the duties of this job, he/she is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. He/she is regularly required to reach with hands and arms. He/she must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud
