Description
Southside Market and Barbeque is currently accepting applications for a BBQ Meat Cutter with the ability to work flexible hours including weekends. This position is responsible for slicing all of Southside's barbeque proteins based on customer requests. This role works directly with customers, our cashiers and customer service team members to ensure that customer orders are filled accurately, and the customer receives the best possible barbeque experience.

MEAT CUTTER ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicates clearly with customers / staff to ensure accuracy of bbq orders
- Utilizes safe and efficient knife skills to cut / package smoked meats to order
- Uses restaurant equipment to accurately weigh meats to exact specifications
- Addresses customer questions / inquiries. Assist customers with decision making by recommending products to try based on customer input
- Ensures guest satisfaction through customer service and hospitality
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment
