We operate from multiple warehouses which distribute Accessories to our exclusive markets throughout our market areas.
About the role
The Accessory Account Manager position is responsible to sell and promote Accessories sales processes within Dealerships in their assigned geographical territory. The pay structure of this role is a combination of salary and commission. In addition, you will be provided a car allowance and cell phone allowance.
What you'll do
- Our Account Managers work closely with dealership personnel to train, advise and support the sales of Accessories.
- Territories are assigned monthly sales objectives tied to individual dealership objectives.
- Performance is based on exceeding 100% of the assigned territory sales objective and market team objective.
- Consult with dealership managers/executives to improve Accessories sales processes and dealer profitability opportunities.
- Develop customized Accessories displays, point-of-sale material, and incentive programs to support the sale of Accessories within each assigned dealership.
- Create engagement by training dealership personnel on Accessories selling processes; includes sales staff, parts departments, service departments and body shops.
- Provide local accessory support for divisional & dealer events.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an entrepreneurial sales professional is desired, including a basic understanding of dealership operations and a passion for working with and/or selling to dealerships.
- This position is full-time in the dealerships within your assigned geographical territory. There will be periodic meetings at our home office in Texas. Candidate will be expected to spend time preparing for dealer meetings outside of normal business hours.
- Candidate should reside in proximity to assigned geographical territory.
- Degree from a 4-year College/University or equivalent experience is desired.
