What are the responsibilities and job description for the Collector position at Southwest Airlines Federal Credit Union?

Position Overview:
- Process Negative Share accounts- daily
- Process post-repossession assignments (Updates, Right to Redeem letter, Deficiency balance letter, etc.)
- Process GAP claims
- Contact members whose accounts are delinquent.
- Offer possible solutions to cure delinquency (skip payment, Workout).
- Notate all member contacts utilizing collections system (Temenos)
- Process payments utilizing Electronic Cash Management (ECM) for credit cards and ACH for checking/savings account withdrawals.
Qualifications:
- Must have previous consumer loan collections experience (prefer 2 years).
- Comprehensive knowledge of personal computer, Excel and Work.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively while maintaining a friendly and welcoming disposition towards members and co-workers.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Bankruptcy process experience is a plus.
- Mortgage Loan Collections is a plus.
- Experience with Akcelerant Collection System is a plus.
- Process GAP Claims.
