Job Overview:
We are seeking a Consumer Accounts Manager/Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing approximately 60 consumer accounts and serving as the primary point of contact for the agency care coordinators regarding consumer accounts.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in accounting principles
- Strong skills in balance sheet and general ledger reconciliation
- Experience with double entry bookkeeping and journal entries
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage
- Knowledge of financial report writing and accounts payable/receivable
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Duties:
- Oversee approximately 60 accounts for consumers with mental illness utilizing QuickBooks program.
- Work with other agency staff for weekly check writes for consumer bills, spending money and other...
- Monitor consumer accounts for accuracy and alerts staff to issues.
- Communicate effectively with consumers and staff.
- Tracks receipts per Social Security guidelines.
- Recognizes discrepancies in consumer accounts.
- Record financial transactions.
- Process accounts receivable/accounts payable.
- Produce financial reports as needed.
- Monitor and maintain accurate financial records.
