Overview: As a Banking Operations Specialist, you will drive operational excellence through comprehensive training and support initiatives. The role is pivotal in enhancing internal team capabilities across all branches. This would involve New Accounts, Teller and Customer Service, including ATM and debit card processes, dispute resolution, fraud prevention and operational standards adherence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with operational standards, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify knowledge gaps and develop tailored training solutions to improve employee performance.
- Collaborate with internal departments to create and deliver training materials and resources.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
- Proficiently utilize the Bank’s teller system, new accounts software, and other frontline tools.
- Facilitate and manage video conferencing meetings as needed.
- Proactively learn new project systems to support training initiatives.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Retail Operations Officer and Professional Development Officer.
- Document lobby activities and maintain accurate records.
- Assist in updating handbooks, intranet sites, and distributing procedural changes to branches.
- Support the Lobby Managers in daily branch operations.
- Contribute to curriculum development for Universal Bankers and all bank employees.
- Assist in special projects related to core system changes and enhancements.
Requirements:

- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
- Ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly.
- Availability for travel and training at other locations with short notice.
