We seek applicants for a Enabling Technology Specialist to provide technical assistance and support to our participants and staff in the staffed and technology-assisted residential homes, ensuring smooth operation and utilization of enabling technology solutions.

We seek applicants for a Enabling Technology Specialist to provide technical assistance and support to our participants and staff in the staffed and technology-assisted residential homes, ensuring smooth operation and utilization of enabling technology solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Provides technical support and assistance for enabling technology to participants and staff via phone, email, or in-person channels.
- Monitors tech-assisted residential monitoring systems daily.
- Responses to remote-support alerts within 20 minutes
- Troubleshoots and resolves hardware and software issues related to technology-enabled solutions.
- Installs, configures and maintains technology-enabled systems and equipment.
- Collaborates with internal and external teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues with enabling technology.
- Educates participants and staff on the use and functionality of technology solutions.
- Documents and tracks participants and staff interactions and issue resolution promptly.
- Maintains documentation of enabling technology systems, including inventory, setup processes and troubleshooting procedures.
- Stays current & compliant with The Enabling Technology Integration Specialist certification.
- Stays up-to-date on emerging enabling technologies and industry trends to provide proactive support and recommendations.
- Assists with in-person or remote support to individuals, as needed.
- Participates in the remote support on-call rotation
- Cooperates and works as a team member with co-workers and supervisors. Treats co-workers and supervisors with respect. Promotes teamwork and maintains a positive attitude.
- Completes initial and annual training-(CPR, First Aid, Tb skin assessment, etc.) as directed by Agency policy and regulatory standards. Attends monthly staff meetings and additional staff development trainings as scheduled.
- Adheres to Agency policy and procedures. Maintains a consistent work attendance record. Limits use of calling off to a minimum and notifies direct supervisor in appropriate amount of time when unable to report to work.
- Fosters collaborative working relationships among members of the leadership and management teams and programs.
- Performs related duties as assigned within your scope of practice.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent
- Must obtain The Enabling Technology Integration Specialist Certification within six (6) months of employment
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and networking principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Able to read, understand and implement written and oral instructions.
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality
- Ability to use small hand tools
