Commercial Roofer

Job Summary
We are currently seeking a commercial roofer to join our team. Someone who would assist within different responsibilities, who is eager to be part of a team, learn and potentially grow within the organization. This individual will be involved primarily with service, maintenance, coating, and repair side of existing commercial roofs. If you have interest in this field, we would like to meet you.

Duties

• Make emergency repairs when and as needed to satisfy customer needs; Adhering to Southwest Commercial Roofing’s Commitment to a Standard of excellence with Quality in a timely manner, with safety in mind.
• There may be additional duties and responsibilities required
• Conducting general inspections/scope of work for potential repairs/replacements
• Interact and work well with owners, customers, co-workers, managers, and inter-office personnel, etc
• Identify, locate, document and advise on roof system deficiencies and issues
• Install service & perform approved repairs as requested
• Must be adaptable to constantly changing environments and work places
• Provide a complete scope of work to be performed for additional repairs needed
• Detects, diagnoses, and fixes leaks
• Complete required daily paperwork, such as on-line service documents, time sheets, etc
• Miscellaneous roof repairs
• Help with coating projects
• Picking up & delivering materials to job sites
• Cleaning up Job sites
• Working alongside sub crews to monitor processes and learn from crew leader
• Site materials, and quality control coordinator (relay information with photo documentation to Project managers)

Experience & Job Requirements

• Commercial/Industrial Roofing: All levels; experienced preferred, but not required
• Effective roof system evaluation and problem-solving skills
• Reliable form of transportation
• Ability to perform assigned task daily through completion with a strong attention to detail
• Must be very skilled in identifying and fixing leaks
• Other critical skills include planning & organizing; problem identification/resolution, multi-tasking, follow-through skills to bring tasks to closure in a timely manner, priority setting, and having a sense of urgency in accomplishing tasks in a timely manner

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
