Position Description: The facilities maintenance staff is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks associated with the daily operation of the school. Performance of building maintenance tasks may require work in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, etc. depending on capabilities). This is a full-time, hourly position, reporting to the Director of Maintenance and Grounds.
- Must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills; customer service oriented
- Must be organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to stoop, kneel or crouch.
- Must be able to hear and speak clearly.
- Must be able to lift items of 50 lbs. regularly/75 lbs. occasionally.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED. Prior facility maintenance experience preferred.
- Valid operator license
