Job Description
The Analyst II/Operations is responsible for the design and analysis of processes and/or the development, standardization, implementation, maintenance and support of those processes from data collection, configuration and integration (i.e. advanced database knowledge). This position must demonstrate creativity, advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, work independently and be able to interact with personnel at all levels throughout the Company.
POSITION DIMENSIONS
This position is not responsible for people or budgets. The incumbent may be involved in complex budget preparation/forecasting. The incumbent frequently exchanges information and interacts with department heads and occasionally with senior management. The incumbent may also interact with internal and external contract personnel.
Qualifications
There are clear precedents and practices which the incumbent uses to determine how this job is performed. This position requires a three to five years relevant work experience, or equivalent
combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential job responsibilities. The incumbent must have proficient computer skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of database concepts. Good oral and written communications skills are required.
A bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university is preferred

Essential Job Responsibilities
- Perform advanced data analytical functions using a variety of statistical techniques form data mining and predictive modeling
- Develop programs and plans to ensure conformance with Company, state and federal regulations
- Research, develop, analyze and communicate key performance metrics of various operational activities and provide recommendations for improvements
- Actively participate in Company projects, collaborate across the business on joint initiatives, and communicate updates to appropriate personnel
- Recognize and identify potential areas where existing system policies and procedures require change or where new ones need to be developed. Understand new data sources and process and catalog/document them
- Ensure integrity of data analytics and processes across the department(s)
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring. Perform advanced data and forecast modeling to accurately capture various expenditures
- Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Regular and predictable attendance is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the job
