Southwest Health and Human Services currently has an opening for a Child Protection Social Worker in our Slayton office.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide child protective services while ensuring the agency’s permanency responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in social work, psychology, sociology or closely related field.
or
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four year college or university with a major in any field and one year of experience as a social worker in a public or private social services agency.

Starting Rate of Pay: $26.10 - $43.31 hourly**
**An additional $3.00 shall be added to the base rate of pay for Child Protection Services (CPS) social workers effective August 1, 2023.
