Job Overview

Responsibilities:
- Administer nursing care to patients in an efficient, safe, and courteous manner using appropriate nursing procedures.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span.
- Utilize information technologies to meet patient needs and provide evidence-based care to improve health outcomes.
Requirements:
- Current state Registered Nurse Licensure, within state of Colorado. Compact license accepted and Colorado License must be obtained within first 90 days of hire.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Current PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
- Current ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
- Successful completion of EKG course within 4 months of hire.
Schedule Information:
- Demonstrate flexibility with working hours and shifts scheduled to meet staffing requirements within department.
Unit Specific Requirements:
- ICU: Minimum of 1 year ICU/Inpatient experience preferred.
- FBC: Successful completion of basic fetal monitoring course within 4 months of hire.
