What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO - BH) - Sierra Vista Hospital position at Southwest Healthcare System?
Incumbent will be sourced to the District 3 Fence & Guardrail Crew. At any time during the year the incumbent may be assigned work at any location in the district on overnight travel status to assist other crews in performing work projects. Some statewide travel may be required. Working under the supervision of a Caltrans Maintenance Supervisor, the incumbent operates equipment identified as Category 1 and Category 2, types of equipment includes but not limited to : Passenger Vehicles, Mini to 3 / 4-Ton Pickups, Vans, and 3 / 4-Ton Utility Bodies; 1-Ton and Up trucks including two axle and three axle dump trucks; Construction Equipment : Mowers, Graders, Tractors, Loaders, Excavators, Backhoes, forklifts; Snow removal specialty equipment : plows, plows with wings and blowers, used by assigned unit, and works individually or with a crew performing tasks related to highway maintenance and striping work. May be required to work in snow areas during the winter months operating snow removal equipment.

Eligibility for hire may be determined by your score on the Caltrans Equipment Operator II exam. For those who do not have current eligibility (e.g., transfer, permissive reinstatement, or voluntary demotions) and / or who will be new to state civil services employment, you must be on the state examination list to be eligible for these positions. Working Conditions
Position located at 1403 Furneaux Road, Olivehurst, Yuba County.
The scheduling for this crew is 4 / 10's year around.
Required to work in a wide range of sometimes extreme conditions, including heat up to 120 degrees, cold to -15 degrees, strong winds, rain, sleet, and snow. Will be required to work overtime due to storms, emergencies, special work projects, or when the Supervisor deems that it is in the best interest of the State to work overtime.
