**Job Title:** Medical Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities:
As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing all required laboratory testing procedures, including blood specimen collection, determining validity of results, quality control analysis, and maintaining accurate records.
You will also be responsible for interpreting and troubleshooting patient results, performing quality control and maintenance tasks, collecting specimens, processing them for testing or referral, and assisting physicians and other hospital personnel with test result interpretation.
In addition, you will ensure a clean work area and adequate supplies, and perform problem-solving or troubleshooting as outlined by lab policy.
Qualifications:
We require an Associate Degree from an approved program in Medical Technology, and certification as a MLT (Medical Laboratory Technician) through ASCP (American Society of Clinical Pathologist), or equivalent such as AMT, CLS, or HEW certified.
You must have strong communication and listening skills, and be able to read, write, and learn a computer system. You should also demonstrate knowledge and skill in obtaining laboratory specimens from all age groups.
