Job Summary – Commercial Cleaning Specialist
Southwest Cleaning Reimagined is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaning Specialist to join our team. This role involves maintaining high cleanliness and sanitation standards in a variety of commercial environments, including medical facilities, office spaces, multifamily residential buildings, and retail locations. Our specialists play a key role in ensuring safe, hygienic, and welcoming environments for clients, employees, and visitors.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting in assigned areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces to maintain hygiene and prevent the spread of germs.
- Empty trash receptacles and properly dispose of waste, including biohazard materials in medical settings.
- Maintain and stock cleaning supplies, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
- Follow strict medical-grade cleaning protocols in healthcare facilities, including disinfection of patient areas and medical equipment.
- Adhere to OSHA and CDC guidelines for infection control and cross-contamination prevention.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with special cleaning projects, including deep cleaning, floor care, post-construction cleaning, and event setups.
Experience & Qualifications
Previous experience in commercial, medical, or multifamily property cleaning is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to multiple job sites.
Must pass a background check.
