What are the responsibilities and job description for the Class A CDL Driver position at Southwest Mobile Storage?
LOCAL CDL DRIVER ($34 - $38 PER HOUR DOE - FULL TIME)
Southwest Mobile Storage in Denver is looking two expert CDL-A driver. You are the eyes, ears and heart of our business, connecting operations and sales to provide the best service to our customers. As a Southwest Mobile Storage driver, you'll be in charge of your own driving time management. We're a team-oriented company, so there will be times when you'll be asked to adjust your route or delivery schedule and use your own independent judgement.
Responsibilities :
- Safely transport storage ready and refurbished overseas containers to and from our main yard to customer locations in Denver and throughout Colorado (this position is not considered an "over-the-road" driving structure)
- Use chains, straps, and winch to secure equipment on to the truck
- Survey the customers' property for obstruction, and advise if needed on the placement of the container
- May be asked to interact with our customers, building relationships throughout your territory
- Work with our internal office and yard staff to ensure safety, customer satisfaction and quality control
