Overview
We are seeking a trustworthy and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to Veterans in need of assistance with daily living activities in their homes. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring they receive the care and attention necessary for their well-being.
Duties
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing, if and when necessary.
- Help with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring safe movement within the home.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
- Trasport clients to and from medical appointments and assist with medication reminders.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be over the age of 18.
- Must possess valid driver's license, insurance, and good driving record.
- Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately while maintaining client confidentiality.

Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
